Redbush or Rooibos is becoming more popular in Western countries particularly among health-conscious consumers, due to its high level of antioxidants such as aspalathin and nothofagin, its lack of caffine, and its low tannin levels compared to fully oxidized black tea or unoxidized green tea leaves.

Put one teaspoon of tea per person into a teapot. Fill the pot with boiling water and allow it to brew for 3 to 5 minutes before pouring. This tea can be drunk on it's own.
