This is the highest grade of Iron Goddess of Mercy (Ti Kuan Yin) Oolong. The story behind this tea is that a tea-grower had a dream in which he was visited by a spirit. The spirit advised him that a treasure was awaiting him behind the Kuan-Yin temple. He searched for the treasure but could only fine a tea shoot. It turned out the tea shoot produced a tea which remained pure and strong even after several additions of boiling water. Within a few years the single tea bush produced hundreds of shrubs and bushes which he shared with his neighbours. This tea is delicate, with light orchid notes and a pleasant aftertaste.
