Continental Coffee Beans 4 stars Good for vacuum coffee Written by Russell
These beans are dark and oily, with a strong dark-roast flavour, slightly chalky. Really excellent by the mug-full using a vacuum coffee-maker (I use a Bodum). I haven't tried it, but I imagine it would make a nice cafetierre coffee, too. Good but not great in an espresso machine - try the Latino or Italian instead. One word of caution: the oiliness tends to clog the feeder of my Gaggia grinder. 3rd Apr, 2012

I first started buying this at a shop in Tavistock in Devon over 10 years ago, and now live in North East England, so now regularly get more posted to me. It's great as a black coffee particularly for breakfast, but also throughout the day.
