Our Original Blend, created by Derek Miles, has a high Assam content, for strength and colour, together with high grown Kenya teas, for flavour and brightness, to produce a mainstream blend of exeptional quality.

Packed in a soft, heat sealed bag this 1.5Kg size is a popular economic pack size.

Nett weight 1.5Kg

Put one teaspoon of loose tea per person into a teapot. Fill the pot with boiling water and allow it to brew for 3 to 5 minutes before pouring. This tea can be drunk with milk or lemon, or on it's own.

I must sound like a snob to my friends when I insist I only drink from loose tea. But that was after someone told me of their visit to a tea estate where he saw the dust and stalks being swept up for tea bagging. Bags are a brilliant idea for selling waste, and that's all most people here in the USA use. Miles tea reminds me of my mother's delicious brew when I was growing up in England, and I will drink nothing else. So I import it. 7th Jul, 2011
