New Miles Redbush Teabags

'STUMP' LOOSE TEA TEAPOT

Possibly the easiest way to drink loose tea? Well the 'Stump' teapot just possibly could be. The Stump teapot comes complete with an extra fine 0.3 mm tea infuser and permanently attached hinged lid for easy use. The extra fine infuser enables you to brew fine teas such as Rooibos tea to large whole-leaf teas like Oolong tea. The infuser is also easy and quick to remove and clean. This teapot is also ideal for use with tea bags.

Good excuse for another!

A recent report from a long term study in the Netherlands is once again
promoting the health benefits of drinking tea and coffee. The report shows that those who regularly drink between 2-6 cups a day reduced their risk of heart disease by a third. For more on this story click on the report below, and you might as well put the kettle on again!

MILES as seen on TV!

Miles tea and coffee had an important part to play in a recent episode of the BBC's hit TV show 'Mary Queen of Shops'.  The show's presenter Mary Portas was called to help turn around the fortunes of local village store 'Clealls' in the picturesque Dorset village of Corfe Castle.

Miles Tea and Coffee were already supplying the business before the decision was taken to make the store focus more on local produce.  A local producers tasting day was arranged at the store and Derek Ralls, the Miles distributor at the time, jumped at the chance to promote Miles.  “The day was manic”, said Derek, “The shop was heaving with locals who where really interested to see what local produce were out there”.  Derek spent the day handing out free tea and coffee and talking about Miles to enthusiastic villagers.

And that enthusiasm seems not to have declined.  On calling owner Juliet the day after the show was aired, she said that 'business was booming' and described the day after the programme as 'crazy'.  Juliet also thanked all the support given to her and husband Chris by the local community and suppliers.

Miles would like to wish Clealls all the success for the future.
